My Experience with Oxbar Magic Maze 2 and Fummo Magnum 8000 Puffs: Two Vapes, Two Vibes

I don’t switch devices every two weeks when it comes to vaping.  Discovering a vape that tastes incredible, lasts, and runs well is something I enjoy.

I decided to try out the Oxbar Magic Maze 2 and the Fummo Magnum 8000 Puffs a couple of weeks back after I heard a lot about them.

Even though their aesthetics could not be more different, both made daring promises about their puff count and flavor.  I therefore gave them both a good shot.

This is how it went down.

First Encounter: Style Is Everything

The minimalism of the Fummo Magnum 8000 Puffs caught me by surprise when I first unwrapped the package.  It feels good in my hand and is elegant and understated.  It has that “grab and go” vibe to it; it’s straightforward and unpretentious, with a look that says, “I’m here to do the job.”

On the other hand, the Oxbar Magic Maze 2 was like unwrapping a technological device.  It has a futuristic appearance to it and is alive with lights and colors.  This is going to be great, I thought the moment I had my first sniff and saw the LED light.

Smooth Sailing with the Fummo Magnum 8000

Consistency was the primary reason that the Fummo Magnum 8000 Puffs attracted me from the very first puff. The taste was consistent whether I took my initial morning puff or my tenth puff in sixty minutes.

It processed all the fruity and cool combinations I tried using it without sacrificing taste during the middle of the day.  Due to the gentle airflow, puffing long, relaxing puffs without coughing is easy.

The eight thousand puffs take longer than you expect.  I puffed on it daily, and it kept working for days without leaving me feeling “almost empty.”

The Fun Factor of Using the Oxbar Magic Maze 2

Positively, The Magic Maze 2 was a different story.  The primary purpose of this device is to bring a little fun to vaping.

It tasted punchy with every puff.  Strong flavors were there, and alternating blends showed the range of the product.  With a nice throat punch, it successfully carried the tastes of sweet, sour, and ice.

When vaping, I also appreciate how it appears.  The lights augment the experience with a peaceful, nearly whimsical energy that transcends simply showing off.  It was so apparent that people asked me what I was vaping.

Tastes: Mild vs. Vibrant

In my vape arsenal, the Fummo Magnum 8000 felt like the “unobtrusive friend” that you can keep around for day-long use.  It’s easy-going, smooth, and does not try to be the center of attention.

The “party animal” was the Oxbar Magic Maze 2.  Every hit tasted great and had a lot of kick, and I wanted to show off the look.

It just depends upon how you feel—relaxed and peaceful or adventurous and spirited.

Carrying Them Around

The Fummo Magnum 8000 is also lighter and smaller, which makes it easier to carry in a pocket, I found.

While the Magic Maze 2 isn’t weighty, its strange shape does make it a bit bigger.  It’s the kind of gadget that you’ll want to be seen carrying, so I had no problem lugging it around.

Bottom Line

I learned something after consecutively using these two devices: the “best” vape is not typically best assessed by features such as battery capacity or the number of puffs, but by the way it feels to use.

The Fummo Magnum 8000 feels like a reliable daily companion.

The Oxbar Magic Maze 2 feels energetic, quirky, and exhilarating, akin to a weekend getaway.

You could just have both hanging around if you’re like me.  One for the lazy days.  For when you need to make a statement.

Whatever, both deliver great taste, long shelf life, and a satisfying vape experience—what they say they do.
